From dated to dramatic!
Just finished refreshing a bathroom for a repeat client, with a sleek 90-degree herringbone tile layout in the shower. The transformation is night and day — clean lines, modern feel, and so much more inviting now.

Materials matter. 💯
Client's new shower surround panels started peeling off after just a few months. Why? Previous contractor used regular drywall behind them. Coupled with improper adhesive the shower surround failed.
Tore it all out and rebuilt it right:
HardieBacker for a solid, moisture-resistant base
Two coats of RedGard waterproofing membrane for real protection
Now those panels are locked in and built to last—no more surprises.
Don't cut corners on what you can't see. Right materials = showers that endure.
