We are lucky to get to work in some of the most beautiful places in the country!

This crew from Fort St. John was busy drilling deep in the heart of the Rocky Mountains for a piling project supporting a new pipeline riser. You can't tell with the fog, but the mountains are right behind the drill.

Great work gentlemen!

Big Inch Pipelines Need Big Inch Piles!

Our team just finished up a challenging project installing 16" x 18m piles for a valve site. Installed in one continuous length with DFI 's versatile track crane piling unit, these piles provided a strong foundation for a safety valve on a pipeline.

These valve sites are an integral part of pipeline safety and could potentially save lives or the environment IF anything were to go wrong.

Think of it like the airbag in your car. Most people never have to experience this safety device deploying, but it can save lives in those unforeseen circumstances. Same can be said with pipeline safety. Rarely does anything go wrong, but if it does, there are several safety controls in place to reduce the impact to the public or environment.

"Let it snow, Lets it snow, Let it snow..."

We just finished up a challenging project North of Fort St. John that consisted of difficult ground conditions, and hard to reach areas due to existing facilities. Our crew executed this 200 pile drill and drive project flawlessly, even when mother nature turned on them!

Our field team often work long hours on locations in the middle of nowhere, away from their families and friends for extended periods of time. They continually work in the cold, snow, rain, heat and everything in-between, all while providing an exemplary service and quality that DFI is known for. Without their relentless dedication, we definitely wouldn't be the company we are today.

Thank you to everyone that was involved on this project!

This DFI custom built 50 ton track crane piling unit just finished up a 300 pile project in Northern BC. The piles were to hold and anchor a bird net system, to keep fowl out of retention ponds.

The versatility of these machines is second to none, and came in handy trying to get up on to the berm and around the tight corners. By using one of these track cranes, our customer saved money with not needing to build special ramps or widen corners with civil earthworks to accommodate typical truck mounted piling units.

To learn more about the versatility of our fleet, feel free to shoot us a message or check out our website.

Special thanks to Christian, Cordel and Dylan for knocking another project out of the park safely and successfully!
