I’ve spent my life watching contractors turn the construction trade into a joke. Too many of them don’t give a damn about the future of their work or the people who rely on it. They chase fast money, slap together weak framing, hide mistakes behind cheap finishes, and call it a day. It’s a culture built on shortcuts, ego, and laziness — not craftsmanship.
I never bought into that bu****it. I worked like the structure mattered. I worked like someone I loved would live in it. I put in the kind of effort that outlasts me. And it infuriates me to see companies built on speed and excuses instead of skill and pride.
This industry is drowning in contractors who don’t deserve the title.
