If you are trying to figure out exactly what we are forming, you will have to stay curious a little longer.

What we can tell you is that this took a serious amount of layout, lumber, bracing, and precision. Concrete is famously uninterested in second chances, so the work before the pour matters just as much as the pour itself.

For now, please enjoy this very expensive maze. More soon.

Weā€™re so excited to be volunteering again this year at the Bite of Stanwood! We can already feel that itā€™s going to be another incredible year of our community showing up to support the Community Resource Center.

We especially love this event because it brings everyone together while highlighting some of our favorite local food stops from both Stanwood and Camano. Itā€™s the perfect opportunity to support the CRC while celebrating the amazing businesses that help make our community so special!

The CRC does so much for local individuals and families, and weā€™re incredibly grateful to be in a position to be able to help sponsor an event that supports their important work. Thank you, CRC, for everything you do for our community!

As a little bonus, Kali with LionHeart Media will be there capturing all the fun and special moments throughout the eventā€¦

We post a lot of the pretty stuff, but some of our most important work isnā€™t exactly ā€œfor the gramā€ material.

Foundations.

We do more of them than youā€™d know from our feed, from monolithic slabs and traditional stem walls to custom foundation work.

Forms and rebar might not get the same attention as stamped concrete, but we know what really matters is what everything else gets built on.

Not always the prettiest. Still plenty to be proud of.

We know youā€™ve been wondering what weā€™ve been up toā€¦ and some days, we wonder the same thing šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Weā€™ve been a little bit of everywhere lately, keeping the schedule busy, the projects moving, and the social media person firmly on her toes.

We donā€™t let much get in the way of keeping a project on trackā€¦ even when we get occasionally stumped. šŸ˜‰

And calling this thing a stump feels disrespectful to the underground empire it had built.

Seriously. The tree was gone, but apparently its infrastructure department was still fully operational.

Sometimes a property likes to keep things interesting.

However we like to keep things moving.

Thereā€™s not much thatā€™ll stop us from keeping a project on track. Within reason, of course. We know better than to challenge Mother Nature too confidently šŸ‘€

So hereā€™s a little look at what weā€™ve been up to lately and a peek at one of those ā€œtrust the processā€ moments that comes with the job.

Because sometimes the process is forms, rebar and concrete.

And sometimes the process is dismantling a little bit of Mother natureā€™s character builders along the way šŸ˜Ž

This custom compass on Whidbey Island was worth making time for. And before anyone asks, yes, Kali stained it. She may run the cameras most days, but every once in a while we let the artist loose.

Weā€™ve got a backlog of concrete content coming your way. Summer has been that busy.

Wellā€¦ we figured it was about time we stopped just visiting Leavenworth and made things official.

LionHeart Concrete is officially a member of the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce!

Weā€™ve been fortunate enough to complete projects in Leavenworth over the years, but now weā€™re officially expanding into both Leavenworth and Plain. And yesā€¦ weā€™re bringing every one of our services with us. Whether itā€™s a new driveway, patio, foundation, retaining wall, decorative concrete, drainage, excavation, or a commercial project, weā€™re here to serve the area with the same quality and pride weā€™re known for back home.

We arenā€™t just showing up to pour concrete. Weā€™re showing up to become part of the community, support local businesses and events, give back whenever we can, and build relationships that last just as long as our work.

Supporting local isnā€™t just something we talk about itā€™s something we believe in.

Weā€™re lucky to be surrounded by hardworking people who are incredibly talented at what they do, and we wanted to give a shoutout to a few businesses that absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Arrowhead Ranch is an incredible venue and the perfect place to bring people together.

Merry Little Baker LLC created a cake that completely stole the show. It was a masterpiece from every angle and tasted just as amazing as it looked.

Sasquatch Subs served up an incredible spread that had everyone going back for seconds.
