Current project we’re undertaking.
Stripping out the complete downstairs to a property Inc the existing kitchen,utility room & WC. All flooring coverings, floor screeds, levelled up the floors, then self levelling compound applied throughout prior to the plumber laying down the underfloor heating pipework. Next we installed a Cement Based floor Board called “No More Ply” this product is designed for use over underfloor heating systems as it retains the heat & is perfect for the forthcoming Oak floor to be applied on top off.
Further works continue around this project over the next few weeks before the Client moves in.

Fellow builder asked me to carry out this work on his behalf this week. Opening up a structural wall in Cheltenham. 2.7m span with Steels installed. All works in accordance to the structural engineer specifications. This transformation really does open up the house to modern day living. Breathing new light into an otherwise dark rear room.

It’s always Lovely when your Client sends you some photos of a how they have furnished your build after you’ve handed over the keys. The Client has Christened the Garden Room as “Her Beautiful little Palace”
It was such a pleasure turning this Clients idea into reality. My working ethics, approachability, friendliness, can do attitude really did shine through on this one. We definitely achieved more than ever was expected.
The big difference to the overall feeling of this build was the full glazing incorporating central sliding doors. The original plans only had a set of external opening patio doors without glazing either side which would have made it awkward to move around due to space restrictions. By suggesting what we have now has brought the Inside & outside spaces together while retaining light & space.
In addition to this I also undertook the decision to make the patio area outside the slidding doors bigger. On the plans there is only a meter gap from building to the 1st stepped retaining wall. Cleverly we increased this to 1.8meters thus allowing a far superior patio area, lightness & feeling of space. All these additions made a huge difference to the finish we achieved without increasing the budget.
Many of my Clients over the years have become Friends and this client is no exception. She was wonderful from our first conversation to handing over the keys. As A small token of my appreciation I Sent her some flower which broke her down to tears.
It’s the personal touch which makes ND Building stand out from the rest. ❤️❤️

Thankyou all for checking out my ND Building page. Please feel free to share. I don’t tend to advertise for work as throughout the years the vast majority of my work is by word of mouth. Recommendations is always the best I feel. Some of you may have noticed the rebranding from “Hands On Property Services & Developments Ltd “ to “ND Building”
(Actual company name in reality is Hands On Property Services & Developments Ltd Trading as ND Building)
This is partly done because it’s easier to remember, does what it says on the can, it also means an email address is easier to remember [email protected] this pushes the business in the right direction when people see it.
It’s been a fantastic 11 months with some magnificent clients. Who knows what projects & jobs will come in the new year.
I feel fortunate to have had many Returning clients this year who were gutted when I went employed for 2 years to run a massive project.
I’m back doing what I do. Working with Clients, delivering a service which many don’t. My personal touch & emphasis on working with a client not being arrogant or greedy goes a long way. I won’t sell myself as something I’m not nor will I take on a job just for the money. For me it’s the making a difference to someone life which makes it more rewarding.

Project garden room. framing to completion. What I loved about this project was there was many aspects of different jobs to be done. Undertaking a build like this involves having a broad range of skills. Mostly carried out by Myself & Alex. Where required the best trades I know were brought in to assist. Things like electrical works & the Window & doors were done by top quality tradesman who I respect & trust. All in all a wonderful job for e wonderful Client. ❤️
