Some of our favourite work is the kind that quietly frames everything else. That drystone wall running along the back of this garden is ours — hand-built the traditional way, stone on stone. 🪨

Some materials just work with you instead of against you. This old stone was one of them — a proper pleasure from first course to last.

Natural stone gate pillars, built to last and finished to give this spot the presence it deserves. A faux entrance with wrought iron gates, framing a view straight out towards Painswick — hard to beat a Cotswold backdrop like this. 🪨

When a local community hub Brimscombe Mill needs a hand, you find the time. Called in last minute to refix the coping stones and repoint some frost damaged blockwork — big thank you for keeping us well watered throughout. The pleasure was all ours …

🔨 Built this one freehand!

We were called into after a driver with a serious lead foot took out their wall. Reinstated it using a mix of reclaimed stone and a few new pieces to match the original look, finished it off with a solid haunch on top.
Massive thanks to the team at The Fox for keeping us well hydrated with drinks throughout the build — nothing like a cold one after laying stone all day!
Proud of how it turned out. 💪

Dear Delivery Drivers,
Keep up the incredible work 👏
Masterfully hitting walls, scraping gateposts, and turning every narrow driveway into a game of bumper cars. Reversing into hedges at full speed, kissing brickwork like it’s your long-lost love, and leaving tyre marks on pavements as your signature.
The creativity is unmatched. Never change. You turn quiet suburban streets into an daily episode of “How Low Can You Go?”
We salute you (and our rising insurance premiums).

Maintaining the standard in our field walls 🪨

A proper field wall isn’t just functional — it’s a statement. Tight joints, straight lines, and stones that sit exactly where they belong. This is what keeping the standard looks like: respectful of tradition, built to last, and tidy enough to make the whole countryside proud.

No shortcuts. No loose stones. Just honest craftsmanship that respects the land and the craft.
Here’s to those who still hold the line — literally.

We finished our part months ago… but the main contractor just wrapped up theirs. So good to see the end product at last! With providing the stone and ourselves for the installation
