Sometimes, renovation plans change when you start uncovering what’s been hidden beneath a property.

Whilst excavating this floor, the owner discovered an unexpected well. Rather than simply covering it back up, the plans changed and the well was incorporated into the finished floor, creating a unique feature within the home.

It’s a great example of why working with older properties often requires a flexible approach. You never quite know what you might uncover once work begins.

From pipework to finished floor, done properly from the ground up.

When underfloor heating is part of the design, it is not just about laying a floor over the top. It is about getting every layer right so the system performs exactly as it should.

We start by installing membranes, insulation, and a geogrid layer ready for the heating engineer to fix the pipework securely in place. Once connected, pressure tested, and left pressurised, we return to complete the limecrete floor.

The result, a breathable, insulated floor that works in harmony with your heating system, not against it.
