1898 chimney brought back to life. 🧱

Previous repairs hadn’t been kind to this one — the internal brickwork had badly deteriorated and the concrete crown wasn’t helping.

We carefully took the stack down around 24 courses, rebuilt it properly using reclaimed bricks and lime mortar, and installed steel plates internally to support and strengthen the chimney structure.

Old buildings need some love❤️

Fun replacing old steel beams with longer ones to open up kitchen space, remove walls and change WC entrance.

Blofield chimney turn out to be rock solid at the top and barley holding up in the middle. Took couple of ton weights and ruble for rebuild
