This dead poplar was becoming a safety hazard, but instead of removing it completely, we left behind a 12–15 foot habitat tree for the local wildlife. 🐦🌲

Our client loves seeing birds around the property, so we turned part of this removal into a safe nesting space with natural cavities for birds and small creatures to use.

It’s a great way to reduce risk while still giving back to the environment.

Healthy properties and happy wildlife can coexist.

Trees don’t just “bounce back” the same way people think 😅🌲

We see it all the time—one part of the tree still looks green, while other branches are completely dead.

And no… those dead sections aren’t coming back.

A few things to watch for:
- Needles turning brown and not recovering
- Branches that feel dry and brittle
- Dead spots that stay the same while the rest of the tree looks fine

Trees can decline slowly, and it’s not always obvious at first.
