Welcome to Alyssa's Wishes. Dedicated to preserving the memory of Alyssa Noelle Audette. Visit us at 2108 NE Concord Steet LS Mo 64086 Not nearby? No problem!

We focus on achieving this goal through acts of Kindness, fostering community connections, and promoting literacy. A special place dedicated to Alyssa Noelle Audette. We wanted a place to share stories, memories, literacy, and kindness with those all around the country and the world. Alyssa left us in November 2011, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved her. We want to continue sharing her stories, her light, and her passion, which included animals, the beach, and tripping over her own two feet. We invite you to join us in spreading joy and kindness by painting shells or rocks with bright, cheerful colors. Add a fun quote, a ladybug, or even a penguin—Alyssa’s favorite!—and leave these little treasures for others to discover. If you’re local, be sure to stop by our own Free Little Library: the Little Ladybug Library, a special addition to our kindness rock garden created in Alyssa’s honor in July 2020. Find a Free Little Library near you at https://littlefreelibrary.org, and share in the magic—take a book, leave a book, and pass along a little kindness through reading, one of Alyssa’s favorite pastimes. We love hearing about all the adventures your creations go on! Be sure to hashtag them with ---it directs people here, helps them discover Alyssa's story, and keeps her spirit shining bright. It is Wednesday October 28th Rockers and Readers. It is The Statue of Liberty’s Birthday and National Immigrants Day 🗽
🇺🇸 The United States of America is known as the world’s melting pot, and every year on October 28 National Immigrants Day gives us a reason to reflect on just how unique that distinction is among the world’s 195 sovereign nations. As Americans, we are (should be!!) proud of our long history of welcoming immigrants from all parts of the world and value their contributions that add zest to our nation’s blend of cultures, customs, and traditions. 🇺🇸
We have added these messages into the Kindness Rocks Garden for the new day!!

The Little Ladybug Library is stocked and available all day, every day!! Today I placed out the tiny table in addition to topping off the selections in all genres. On the table there is an extra box of YA chapter books, books about the Statue of Liberty, immigration and diversity, along with more Halloween 🎃 +adult fiction !!
As always we invite you to come by and share in the generosity of our community🎃🐞📚

Our world needs simple acts of kindness and creativity now more than ever. ❤️ In a time when there is so much uncertainty and division, the smallest gestures can bring hope, spread joy, and remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved. Never underestimate the power of a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a little creativity to brighten someone’s day and make the world a better place. 🌎💕 We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can change someone’s world, one Kindness rock at a time. ✨

Speaking of belated thank-yous, I’m going to try to catch us up on all the Kindness Rocks that have been found over the last few weeks!! 🐞❤️

We know the statistics: we only hear from a small percentage of the people who find our rocks, and only a fraction of those moments are shared with us. That’s why I’m especially grateful when someone takes a moment to reach out and share their story! These little glimpses of kindness mean so much, and I love being able to share those moments with y’all! 💕

It’s Monday October 26th Rockers and Readers!! National Pumpkin Day 🎃
I topped off The Little Ladybug Library and placed these stones into the Kindness Rocks Garden for the new day!

If you’re looking for a specific book, (title, author, subject matter), feel free to send us a message. Getting the books to those who most need them has become a big part of our mission!

As you can see, we are once again in desperate need of toddler and board books. If you have any to spare please consider bringing them by when you visit.

Don’t forget to sign the guestbook in the main library box and enjoy the goodies inside, including pocket Constitutions !!
