Really looking forward to bringing this one to life.
It’s been a few kitchens since I’ve had the opportunity to do one of my own designs, with the last few being architect-designed, so it’s been great getting back into the design side again. It’s something I really enjoy — and when I design it myself, I can work through every detail knowing exactly how I’m going to build it and make it all work.
This one is going to be pretty cool. Predominantly black joinery, brass benchtops and splashbacks, a granite island top, black Blum LEGRABOX drawers and some custom sliding cedar screens that disappear away when opened.
And it doesn’t stop at the kitchen. There’s a full wall of custom joinery through the media room incorporating the TV, display areas and flowing through into a desk/workspace, plus bathroom vanities, a full custom walk-in wardrobe and an outdoor kitchen with built-in appliances.
Plenty of little custom details throughout that should make this one a bit special.
