⚡ When did you last test your RCD?

Many RCD manufacturers recommend regular operation of the test button — commonly every 3 months for domestic installations. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your particular device.

And remember: pressing the test button is a basic functional check, not a substitute for professional inspection and electrical testing 👍

Well what a busy August it’s been, so many EICR’s in
St Albans this last 2 weeks! Haven’t had as much time to post as usual but grabbed a few photos from a maintenance visit we did this week carrying out their fire alarm and emergency lighting testing 🚨

All our electricians are now off and enjoying the bank holiday weekend but our team are back in the office on Tuesday 1st September 👍

Have a great bank holiday all 😀

Not only do our electricians carry out your maintenance to keep you compliant, but they also train your staff to carry out the weekly/monthly testing.

🚨 Fire Alarm Testing requires weekly testing, as well as the 6 monthly test carried out by a professional.

💡 Emergency lighting should be tested monthly and annually by a professional.
