🏆 More amazing news! We’ve won another BALI Award!

We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised in the Accredited Contractor & Accredited Designer Joint Submission category, sponsored by Easigrass.

This award celebrates a fantastic collaboration between Jilayne Rickards Contemporary Garden Design, Living Landscapes and Muddy Wellies Gardens Ltd, working together to create a beautiful and carefully considered landscape for our client.

The judges commented:

"A hugely successful collaboration between the 3 parties and the client. An excellent project, designed and planted very carefully for aspect, location and for the long-term. The hard landscape elements are put together skilfully and sympathetically to achieve a rustic effect - not an easy undertaking."

🏆 We’re incredibly proud to announce that we are official winners at the BALI National Landscape Awards!

Our project, Tramway House, has won the Domestic Garden Construction – Under £50k category.

This is a huge achievement for the whole Muddy Wellies Gardens team and a fantastic recognition from one of the most respected organisations in the landscaping industry.

The judges commented:

"A lovely project. The hard landscaping is an exercise in excellence with beautiful and appropriate planting to match. The new terrace and sitting areas adjacent to the refurbished and modified cottage have enhanced it superbly. The continuation of the joints across the various elements are seamless and the movement/expansion joints in the paving have been cleverly dealt with, with gravel strips planted with thyme."

A huge thank you to our amazing team for their hard work, craftsmanship and dedication, and to BALI for recognising this project with such a prestigious award.

Meet Jack, Gardener at Muddy Wellies.

“I have always had a love of biology and was brought up by a family obsessed with gardening. As an adult, I have been lucky enough to design and build gardens for myself and several friends and family members. In 2019 after a year working mostly on permaculture projects in New Zealand I started working formally in gardening and landscaping.

With Muddy Wellies Gardens, we get to see so many amazing corners of the county, some of our days would make anyone envious.

When not at work, I am a journeyman blacksmith with a real obsession for art deco.” - Jack

This garden needs a complete makeover!
We started with a good clear-out, including the removal of old decking, slabs and foliage. Once we had our blank canvas, the team could set out the new design and start preparing for the patio and planting.
