His father, who was a contractor, taught him the trade. After graduating from university in Israel with a Mechanical Engineering degree, Ilan continued working in the field of construction in New Jersey while pursuing his second degree in Computer Software, from Montclair State University. After moving to California, Ilan committed his time to establishing a general construction business. Sigura Construction has quickly become a leader in the commercial, residential and multi-housing areas of construction. Today, we are a family owned business serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area. With over 22 years of experience in the construction field, we pride ourselves on providing high quality services, excellent customer care, and prompt performance and reliability. Replacing this roof would have cost $45K to $50K. Here’s why we didn’t.

This home had three additions, and its gas, water and electrical lines all run across the roof. A standard re-roof would mean cutting out every utility, leaving the owners without power, and reinstalling everything afterward.

Instead, we sealed it in place:
✅ Bleed blocker base coat
✅ Adhesive and fiber tape on every seam
✅ Second coat of adhesive to lock it in

✅ Add SCS2000 Sealant to any joints
✅ White silicone top coat to reflect heat

The result: a roof that lasts 20 to 25 years with no maintenance, and even longer with a quick power wash and fresh silicone coat every 5 to 10 years. All for less than a traditional re-roof.

What goes into a porcelain patio that actually lasts? 👇

We’re building this porcelain paver patio and outdoor kitchen for a home in Los Gatos. Mortar mixed fresh on site. A full mortar bed so nothing shifts or settles. Every porcelain paver set and leveled by hand. Every cut made on site for a tight fit.

This San Jose kitchen is getting bigger. Here’s what that looks like before it looks good. 🏗️
