Join us in celebrating Robert Blanchard and Jose Lopez on their 5-year anniversaries!

Over the past five years, both Robert and Jose have made a lasting impact through their leadership, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence.

As Carpenter Foreman, Robert Blanchard is a skilled, thoughtful leader and trusted site Superintendent. His focus on quality, safety, and efficiency helps ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard, while his leadership continues to make a positive difference on every jobsite.

As a Journeyman Carpenter, Jose Lopez is known for his attention to detail and dedication to achieving the highest quality standards in everything he does. As the project Superintendent's right-hand man, Jose plays a key role in keeping projects moving forward, coordinating with trade partners, vendors, and suppliers to drive on-site progress and success.

With Phase 1 complete and students moved into their brand-new campus, the project is entering its next exciting chapter. Over the coming months, the existing school will be demolished to make way for new athletic fields and outdoor spaces that will serve students for years to come.

This milestone would not be possible without the incredible efforts of our project team, Washoe County School District, TSK , and our trade partners. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life.

Groundbreaking at Grand Oaks Elementary School! Clark/Sullivan Construction is proud to work for on the Grand Oaks Elementary School New Classroom Facility and Parking Lot Project, a significant investment in the future of student learning and campus growth. This multi-phase project will include the construction of new classrooms, a kitchen, and a cafeteria, as well as extensive site improvements designed to enhance the educational experience for students and staff. We are beginning with Phase One, followed by the construction of new buildings in Phase Two and the completion of the parking lot, fencing, garbage enclosure, and additional site enhancements in Phase Three. This project represents an exciting step forward for the school and community. We look forward to bringing these new facilities to life and creating spaces that will support learning, connection, and success for years to come.

Summer at the lake has a way of reminding us why we love building in the Tahoe Basin. Few places ask more of a builder, and few reward the effort the way Tahoe does. Getting it right here takes local knowledge, careful planning, and a deep respect for the place itself.

One project that captures that is the Ritz-Carlton Lake Club in Tahoe City, which Steve Jessop led for our team. Built right at the water's edge with panoramic views of the lake, it's the kind of setting that leaves no room for error and no place to hide a mistake.

Steve will tell you that building this close to the water means building around people. On the Lake Club, he spent as much time keeping neighbors in the loop as he did his own crews, and worked hand in hand with local agencies so the finished project reflected the best practices the Basin is known for. That is how you earn the right to build somewhere this special.

As the crowds head up to the water this July, we're proud of the work we've done around this lake, and grateful for the people like Steve who know how to do it right!
