Slurry seal is an important preventative maintenance process that helps extend the life of roadways. It works by sealing small cracks, improving skid resistance, and protecting pavement from water, sunlight, and everyday wear and tear.
Fun fact: slurry seal can significantly extend the lifespan of a road and help delay the need for more costly repairs in the future.

Great work by our crews as we kick off the season and continue helping maintain the roads that keep our communities connected.

Working alongside United Construction on the Waltham Way project, our crews completed mass grading, underground utilities, paving, and striping to help bring this site to life from the ground up.
Projects like this take strong collaboration, skilled crews, and attention to detail every step of the way. Great work by everyone involved in bringing this project across the finish line.

4th Street Project Update:

We currently have six crews underway on the northside improvements, making steady progress across the corridor. Concrete work between McCarran and Summit Ridge is beginning to wrap up, and crews are now transitioning operations from Summit Ridge to Keystone.

As part of the new alignment, a milling process is being used to remove existing asphalt—an important step in preparing for the installation of a new multi-use path.
Looking ahead, our paving crew is scheduled to mobilize next week to complete asphalt paving.
