October is Careers in Construction Month! Thank you to Governor Lombardo, Washoe County, City of Reno, and City of Sparks, for once again recognizing this month and celebrating the people who build Nevada.

The skilled trades offer rewarding careers, opportunities to learn through training and apprenticeships, and the pride of seeing your work make a lasting difference. Whether you’re starting your career or exploring a new direction, your talents have a place in construction.

This October, we celebrate today’s construction workforce and root for the next generation of contractors. 💪

AGC Fall Leadership Series Kicks off with 25 amazing people. The program consists of 8 training modules focused on strengthening leadership skills, improving communication and advancing team skills. The program is facilitated by Jeffrey Benjamin of BREAKTHROUGH TRAINING.

This week, we had the privilege of hosting AGC-endorsed candidate and Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar for an informative Lunch & Learn focused on election integrity and business licensing reform. Over the past four years, the Secretary of State’s Office has made significant improvements and is working to create even more effective election and business licensing processes for Nevadans.
