Compost Site Update - Open Today

We closed early yesterday after a fire started in our brush dump area. With the strong winds, it spread quickly, and we made the decision to close the site for everyone’s safety.

The fire is fully contained and extinguished.

A huge thank you to the Owatonna Fire Department for their quick response and help getting everything under control safely.

We will be open our normal business hours today. However, if high winds or any remaining fire risk create a safety concern we will close early.

We apologize to everyone we had to turn away yesterday and appreciate your understanding. We’ll provide updates on here as anything changes.
