Week 1 of college football… had to have the game on at the jobsite 🏈😂

This front patio was heavily cracked, pitted, and worn down, and water was actually leaking through into the basement below.

We repaired and sealed everything up, then finished it with a double broadcast quartz system using UV + weather stable materials built to handle Nebraska weather.

Now they’ve got a fresh grand entrance with more durability, more grip, and most importantly, no more water issues. 🐐

Water was leaking straight through this front porch and into the basement below. 💧 (see final result soon)

Years of wear left behind damaged, heavily spalled concrete and failing joints. Before installing the decorative quartz system, we ground the entire surface, filled the joints, patched the damaged areas, and smoothed everything out.

When water is involved, proper prep isn’t optional. A long-lasting floor starts with the work underneath. 🐐

For this recent project, our customer had a specific vision for their garage floor, so we went through the process of creating multiple sample boards with different flake combinations until we found the perfect one.

The goal was to incorporate Husker red while keeping the overall floor neutral enough to complement the rest of the home.

After testing different combinations, we landed on the winner: Cabin Fever + 15% Tomato Red — just enough red to bring the Husker feel without overpowering the space.

We love projects like this because the finished floor isn’t just another color out of a catalog—it’s a blend created specifically for the customer and their space.

This project was an extra special one for us. The homeowners had been working alongside Carlson Projects | Custom Homes & Remodels | Lincoln Ne to completely transform their home, and when it came time to finish off their detached garage, they reached out to us to help bring their vision to life.

They knew exactly how they wanted this space to look and feel, so we created three different sample boards with custom flake combinations until we landed on the perfect blend—incorporating Husker red while keeping the overall look clean, neutral, and cohesive with the rest of the home. 🎈🌽 Check out our separate post for the full process we did to create this color blend.

From worn-out and slippery ➡️ durable, textured, and built for Nebraska weather. 🐐

This front porch and walkway had seen better days — chipped and cracked concrete covered with a light blue paint that was peeling away and became extremely slippery when wet.

We completely resurfaced the area and installed a double-broadcast quartz system with two protective topcoats. The double quartz broadcast adds serious durability while creating a more textured surface for better traction during rain, snow, and icy winter months.

A huge upgrade in both appearance and functionality.
