Property managers — this one's for you. Scroll slow.

Do you have concrete on your property that looks like this? Cracked, spider-webbed, sinking at the joints, water pooling where it shouldn't. Marked out in yellow are four "areas of concern" from a single commercial lot we just assessed — and if you manage a property, chances are you've got a few of your own.

So, what's actually happening? A few things:
-> Heavy traffic + delivery and refuse trucks that the slab was never built to carry
-> Water working into the cracks, freezing every Nebraska winter, and prying the concrete apart a little more each year
-> A base underneath that's shifted, settled, or was cut short from the start

Here's the part most contractors won't tell you: you don't always have to replace the whole lot. We assess it area by area — flag what's truly failing versus what can wait — so you fix what matters now and plan the rest around your budget. Catch it early and a section repair beats a full tear-out every time.

And here's our edge: we run a lean, experienced crew. Less overhead, no bloated pricing — and those savings get passed straight to you. Quality work, honest numbers, done right the first time.

Two crews. One backyard. A whole lot of horsepower.

Watch closely — this is what happens when Atomic and Flatworx roll onto the same job site.

Mixer trucks, skid steers, and dump trailers have been running all day, turning a bare patch of Nebraska dirt into a backyard you'd never want to leave — a concrete pool deck, a stone fire pit, and clean retaining walls tying it all together.

Here's how it comes together: .handyman built the stacked-stone retaining wall and the stone fire pit that give this space its backbone, while Flatworx laid down the concrete pool deck and walkways that pull the whole backyard into one finished, done-right look. Two companies, one standard.

And we're just getting started. The deck is curing, the fire pit's coming together, and the full BEFORE ➡️ AFTER reveal is on the way.

👍 Like this and follow Flatworx so you don't miss the finished transformation — trust us, you'll want to see this one.

Be honest — how many times have you walked over a cracked, sunken entry slab and not thought twice about it?
This local bank did think about it. Their main entry was deteriorating into a real trip hazard right at the front door, so they called us to tear it out and pour it right.
This is what "done right" looks like on day one — clean broom finish for grip, a smooth rounded edge, and a crisp tie-in to the surrounding pad. No lips, no ledges, nothing waiting to catch a toe on the way in or out of the bank.
The tape and cones stay up while it cures. Rushing fresh concrete just trades a few days now for cracks later — done right means done patiently, especially on a slab this many feet see every day.
Got an entry, approach, or drive-up lane that's turning into a liability? Call or text for a free quote.

Throwback to this one — a full front-entry makeover that made the whole approach to the house safer and cleaner.
Look at the difference: a fresh, smooth walkway leading right up to the door, a rebuilt entry step, and clean lines all the way from the driveway to the porch. No more uneven, patched-together path to trip over on the way to the truck.
This is the kind of project we love — no job too small, and every detail done right, from the curved step to the finished edges.
And here's our promise, then and now: we take on any and every opportunity, big or small. If it needs concrete, we're your crew.

See those red arrows? 👀
Do you know what they mean?
Here's the inside scoop. When a sidewalk panel lifts, cracks, or settles enough to catch a toe, a wheelchair, or a stroller, it gets flagged with a mark like this. That red arrow means: this panel is a trip hazard and has to come out.
Our crew is out right now bringing these walks up to code — pulling the flagged panels, prepping the base, and pouring smooth, level, ADA-compliant concrete that's safe for everyone who uses it.
A lifted sidewalk isn't just an eyesore — for a property owner it's a liability every time someone walks by. Getting it flagged and fixed protects people and your wallet.
Know a property manager or homeowner who's got sidewalks like this? Send this their way.

Something else? Drop it below — we've probably poured it
No pressure, no sales pitch — we just love talking concrete. But hey… if your dream project is closer than you think, we do free quotes. 😏
