You can tell how much someone loves❤️engineering when they’re willing to spend 3 hours in the hot, hot Nebraska sun talking with engineering students!
ACEC Nebraska staff Jeanne Hirschfeld McClure and Jill Tillinghast spent the afternoon at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering’s Rock the Blocks, introducing students to Let’s MEET (Mentor Emerging Engineers Together) -- our mentoring program that connects future engineers with professionals who can encourage and guide them along the way.
We also handed out more than 500 bags of popcorn and stickers! We can’t wait for UNL COE faculty and staff to look out at this year’s freshman class and see ACEC Nebraska’s Become an Engineer stickers proudly displayed on laptops across the room.
