Just had new Curb’d edging installed? A little care early on can help keep it looking great for years to come!

Here are a few important tips:

💧 Give it time to cure — Keep irrigation off for at least 24 hours and avoid heavy traffic or pets around the new curbing. It will be dry within hours, but concrete takes about 28 days to fully cure, so use extra caution when mowing and trimming during the first month.

🛠️ Be careful around fresh curbing — If you’re adding new landscaping after installation, wait at least 48 hours and use caution with shovels, rakes, and equipment.

💦 Watch your sprinklers — Avoid directly spraying the curbing with irrigation. This can contribute to mineral buildup and efflorescence, which can appear as a white substance on the concrete. This is a natural part of the curing process and will typically fade over time.

✨ Keep it sealed — Your new curbing will be sealed after installation. We recommend resealing about every 2-4 years to help maintain the color and protect against weather, stains, mud, grease, and spills.

Take care of your curbing, and it’ll take care of keeping your landscape looking sharp! 💪
