Negative reviews are always a bummer but they are especially frustrating when the complaint is the first time hearing about dissatisfaction related to pricing and scheduling- two things we are up-front about from the get-go. In this case the review was left through Home Depot Pro Referral which unfortunately doesn't allow for a response to the review.

Lamp repair is not our primary business, but rather an "add-on" service we provide as scheduling allows. We are electricians - usually out in the field doing electrical things, so there's a need to schedule appointments to meet at our shop for pick up and drop offs.

$70.48 is probably more than the broken lamp initially cost - but it also doesn't begin to cover the time and fuel associated with two trips we made to be at the shop to meet the customer, the time and fuel to get the parts for the repair, the actual parts, and the time to make the repair - At the end of the day we are happy to provide this service and will continue to do so.
