Our team completely reimagined this downtown condo — turning a dated, closed-off layout into a bright, open, modern space that feels brand new the moment you walk in.

🔥 Grill Bar Glow-Up at the 8N Lofts Rooftop Deck! 🔥

We gave the two curved grill bars on the 8N Lofts rooftop a much-needed facelift! The original stone was falling apart, so we removed it and replaced it with a sleek new finish using Deckorators composite decking in Saltwater, and added bold contrast with Ironwood risers as trim.

The best part? These bars are curved, so we custom-heated and bent the decking to wrap seamlessly around the framing—giving it a clean, modern look that’s built to last.

We had the pleasure of bringing new life to this beautiful wrap-around porch by removing the old, rotted rails and posts and replacing them with fresh new supports—wrapped in stunning Westbury DSI Column wraps for a crisp, clean look.

To tie it all together, we installed matching white Westbury railing and wrapped the beam in fresh white trim coil to give this home the curb appeal it deserves!

Happy Birthday to the CEO of Freedom Construction — Travis Kelso

Today we celebrate the man behind the mission — the heart, grit, and faith that built this company from the ground up.

For those who know Travis, there are endless words to describe him: hardworking, humble, resilient, and fiercely loyal. For those who *don’t* know him — here’s a little bit of his story.

Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Travis’s journey of service and leadership began when he joined the United States Marine Corps right after high school. He and his wife moved to California during his time in the military, welcoming their first child while building lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories. After deployment, they returned home to Nebraska to build a life rooted in faith and family.

Travis began working at Verizon Wireless, where his dedication quickly made him one of the company’s top-performing managers. While working full time, he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business — a true testament to his drive. When the COVID-19 pandemic led to the unexpected elimination of his position, it could have been the end of the road — but not for Travis.

Instead, he leaned into his faith and his hands-on skills, helping friends and neighbors with home projects. With the unwavering support of his wife, he turned his passion into a purpose — launching Freedom Construction. From fences and decks to full remodels, Travis brings dreams to life. While some contractors might say “That’s not possible,” Travis says, “We got this.”

Outside of work, he’s a devoted husband of 18 years and a hands-on father to three amazing kids. He’s the guy who will give you the shirt off his back — the kind of man whose character shines as brightly as his craftsmanship.

Today, we honor not just the CEO, but the leader, the father, the husband, the friend, and the man of faith who lives to serve others with integrity.

We installed a 10x14 bronze pergola to perfectly match the existing railing system — and fully integrated it for a seamless look. This setup features individually operated louvered shades on top, so you can customize your shade any way you like: one open, one closed, or both closed for full coverage.
