Hey folks, with summer basically here, we want to make sure you catch any and all issues so you can enjoy a relaxing summer. With that being said, be sure to check all valves, backflow preventers, and exposed joints for leaks or cracks. Summer is supposed to be relaxing, take the time now to prevent a headache and hours of cleaning later.

In your travels around lincoln have you seen odd out of place houses like this one in SE Lincoln ?

These are actually pumping stations for our water system. The building are designed to appear like a little house to blend in a little better and not be an eyesore on the block. This one is more obvious with the water tank behind.

These pumping stations are installed to assst in the delivery of water out to the expanding nehiborhoods to ensure everyone has clean and safe potable water.

Tip: if you live close to one of these place it’s a good idea to invest in a simple garden hose pressure guage to monitor pressures to your home. All the fixtures now a days are designed to work with pressures 50-70 psi. When the pressure goes over 70 it can start to cause issues. IE: Toilets that whistle when filling.
