Autumn flowers for the bees.

🐝🌸🌞🍂

As the growing season winds down, asters are putting on a show and the pollinators are making the most of it.

These late-blooming native flowers provide an important source of nectar and pollen for bees and other insects at a time when many other flowers have finished blooming. For pollinators still active in autumn, having flowers available can make a big difference.

Asters are one of the best reasons to keep your garden blooming into fall. Their clouds of purple and blue flowers bring colour to the autumn landscape while supporting the wildlife that depends on these seasonal resources. Plant with goldenrod for a real colour show.
