We’re Anchored Plumbing, based right here in Cooks Beach.

We help locals, bach owners and rental property owners with the small but important plumbing jobs that keep a property running properly.

Think taps, toilets, hot water, filters, pumps, tank water systems, maintenance checks and those “we really must get that sorted” jobs that have been sitting on the list for a while.

Darryl brings hands-on plumbing experience and a rural plumbing background, which is a great fit for Cooks Beach homes and baches where tanks, pumps, filters and older systems are common.

Vicky brings strong “front of wall” product knowledge, helping customers understand the visible choices, from taps and toilets to fittings and finishes.

Together, we offer practical, reliable plumbing support with an eye for both how things work and how they look.

We’re not here to overcomplicate things. We’re here to help with practical, local plumbing support when you need it.

Need a local plumber in Cooks Beach? Send us a message or give Darryl a call.

That little plumbing job you keep ignoring?

You know the one.

💧The tap that drips.
💧The toilet that keeps running.
💧The pump that makes a noise you’re pretending not to hear.
💧The filter you’re pretty sure should have been changed ages ago.

Small plumbing jobs are easy to put off, especially when life is busy or you’re only at the bach for a few days at a time.

But small issues can turn into bigger, more annoying ones if they’re left too long.

Anchored Plumbing can help with the small but important jobs around your home, bach or rental.

Send us a message and let’s get it off the list.

"Not sure what the plumbing problem is? That’s okay.

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you call a plumber.

You might just notice that:
-the water pressure has dropped
-the pump sounds different
-the toilet keeps running
-the hot water isn’t lasting
-the filter hasn’t been changed in a while
-something just doesn’t seem quite right

That’s enough.

Anchored Plumbing can take a look, work out what’s happening, and explain the next step in plain English.

No overcomplicating.
No guesswork.
Just practical plumbing help for Cooks Beach homes, baches and rentals.

Send us a message if something needs checking.

Is there something wrong with my pump if it keeps running?

Probably not.

We hate to break it to you, but if your pump keeps running, there’s a very good chance you’ve got a leak somewhere.

Even if you’ve looked.
Even if you’re sure you haven’t.
Even if the leak is doing a very good job of pretending it doesn’t exist.

Some leaks are obvious. Others are tiny, sneaky little things that take a bit of hunting to find.

But it is worth sorting.

A pump that keeps running is not great for the pump, and with a drier summer being talked about, the last thing anyone wants is precious tank or bore water quietly disappearing somewhere it shouldn’t.

We recently had one where the owner had hunted high and low trying to find the leak. It turned out to be a small drip from a beautiful old hand pump. Easy to miss, but definitely enough to cause a problem.

So if your pump is running more than usual, don’t ignore it.

It might not be your pump asking for attention.
It might be your plumbing telling you there’s a leak.

Give Darryl a call and we’ll help track it down.
