Ahuru Construction šØš
Iāve had a few people reach out about my logo and the meaning of it so I thought Iād just share the story and meaning to me.
My sister Taingarue designed the logo . I asked her for was something simple and professional and sheās obviously gone above and beyond. The shape and style represents an aspects of a āWharenuiā which translates literally in Maori as ābig houseā š. But the Wharenui design in my logo represents the hours of traditional quality craftsmanship that goes into traditional carving you see around a Marae. This quality and craftsmanship approach is what I hope to emulate in my own carpentry work.
āAhuruā - Ahuru pronounced (ah-hoo-roo) means to be warm, cozy, comfortable and safe. Iāve taken inspiration from my grandparents publishing company āAhuru Enterprises ltdā. This is something else I hope to represent in my carpentry, somewhere warm, cozy and safe. I think for a house to really feel like a home it needs to have these qualities.
āConstructionā - āconstructionā obviously means to build things, but I believe the construction of a home isnāt just limited to the actual building of the house. Itās being involved for the entire process from start to finish. From co sultatio. And design all the way through the build to planting, landscaping and final hand over.
