A small kitchen, completely reimagined.

The original kitchen was small, short on storage, seriously lacking in bench space and simply wasn’t working for this family anymore.

The challenge was to get significantly more from the same space. More storage, more usable work surface and all the conveniences of a modern kitchen, without making a relatively narrow room feel crowded.

By making use of the full ceiling height, carefully scaling the island and designing storage around what the family actually needed to put away, we were able to make every part of the space work harder.

And then came the fun part: bringing the personality to life. Warm timber, crisp white cabinetry, beautiful veined porcelain benchtops and a very special photographic glass splashback come together to create a kitchen that feels fresh, distinctive and full of character. It’s practical, hardworking and packed with those little details that make you want to stop and take it all in.

A lot of thought went into this one, and we think it shows.
