We're after another qualified carpenter to join our team. It's varied work: rural builds, council bridges and DOC sites all over the lower South Island. Full details in the link. If you know someone good, send them my way or share this. Cheers! Fergus 027 589 2901

Whether you’re riding hard or hardly riding, a few laps of our track will have you reaching for something stronger than electrolytes 🥵🍺

Good thing the Recreation Station Bar is back! 🍻 This year the team have gone above and beyond and built two epic custom bar leaners, which will be auctioned off on the day (see comments for photo) 🔨

Open from 12pm ⏰ swing by and raise a glass to a crew who always show up for our school Recreation Construction 2021 Ltd 💛💙

🍻 Reminder this year there's a $200 bar tab up for ALL team entries, drawn right before the bar opens on race day. Kindly donated by Milligans Café & Store

Pressing pause ⏸️ on the school-dad 💪 shenanigans…(for now) because it’s time to spotlight one of the legends behind this event.

A huge thank you to Recreation Construction 2021 Ltd. Back for their third year of support and stepping up into the 4th-Gear Sponsor spot for 2026.

These guys take on the big jobs -

🏗️ Farm building
🚜 Civil construction & earthworks
🌉 Bridge and structural projects
🌲 Remote infrastructure work

🍻 And yes… they back the bar, making sure it’s very well supported on the day aswell 😉

There’s a school dad behind the scenes here too and rumour has it he’s been trying on the size 6 Papakaio uniform ahead of his big debut. We’re ready when you are! 😂👀

Thanks Recreation Construction for helping us build something epic for our Papakaio kids 💙
