Before you think about adding on or moving, take a look at the space you already have.
At this Christchurch home, an underused basement had plenty of potential. It just needed the right thinking.
We transformed it into a warm, finished and genuinely useful part of the home, including a new kitchenette, upgraded bedrooms, bathroom facilities, insulation, underfloor heating and tiled floors throughout.
The bones were already there. Our job was to make better use of them and create a space that will work for the homeowners for years to come.
That’s what a good renovation should do. Not just make a home look newer, but make it more comfortable, practical and flexible for the way you want to live now and in the future.
