A regular lift service can ensure there’s no hidden scares this Halloween 👻

As part of our planned preventative maintenance schedule, our engineers carve out 🔪 🎃 generous time slots to thoroughly check all features of the lift; warts and all.

Not just a visual check 👀 We ensure everything is operating safely and is in good condition, helping to minimise breakdowns and maximise the lifespan of the equipment.

Make sure there’s no skeletons in your lift shaft 💀

We fully appreciate how critical a lift can be for residents at a retirement complex, so when one lift broke down at a site in Cardiff we were quick to respond 🚐🔧 And our client was delighted with the service we provided…

🗣️ “As a Development Manager at a retirement complex, the lift is an absolutely critical facility for our residents. When it broke down a few days ago, Pickerings Lifts dealt with the situation with the utmost urgency and professionalism.

“Throughout the process, they kept me fully informed and delivered on everything they promised. The required parts were sourced quickly, and the lift was repaired and back in service by 7:00am this morning.

“Excellent communication, great service, and a strong commitment to customer care. Well done, and thank you to the team at Pickerings Lifts.”

Great work from our South Wales team 👏🏼

Our Manchester office recently hosted their annual , which they combined with their monthly Toolbox Talk 🔧🍰 It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues to come together, support an incredible cause, and raise vital funds for people living with cancer and their families.

Thanks to everyone's generosity, we are delighted to announce that our Macmillan Coffee Morning raised an incredible £413, including a fantastic personal fundraising donation from lift engineer Darrel 💚

We would like to thank everyone who baked, donated, attended, and supported the event. It was inspiring to see our team unite in support of Macmillan Cancer Support's vital work.

Events like these showcase the sense of community, teamwork, and shared values that make our Manchester team so special. As our office continues to grow, we are always delighted to welcome new people who share those values and are looking to build a rewarding career in the lift industry.

It’s always nice to attend Laurence Jackson School’s Annual Careers Event in Guisborough as we did again last week.

It was great speaking to enthusiastic young people about their potential career paths and sharing insights about the opportunities in the lift industry.

We’re proud to support events like these that help inspire the next generation of talent 🔼

As today marks we wanted to promote the efforts of our North West team who are raising funds to purchase a publicly accessible defibrillator at our Manchester office.

💔 Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time and survival rates drop by around 10% for every minute without defibrillation.

Donations will not only help us buy the equipment but also provide free training sessions so our staff and mobile engineers feel confident using it; empowering people to step in and save a life in our surrounding and local area.

As a cause close to our heart (literally), any support will be greatly appreciated: https://ow.ly/3uRS50YYa5e

Colleagues from our Loading Systems division and Head Office recently volunteered at Oxfam Oxfam’s hub in Batley, West Yorkshire.

The team gave up their time to help out in the warehouse, sorting through donations and ensuring the quality of the products so they could go on to be sold in Oxfam’s charity shops, raising vital funds to tackle global poverty and inequality 💚

As well as helping such a great cause, it was a rewarding experience for our colleagues, getting to know each other outside of their usual work environment, having fun with fashion 👗👒 and wrestling pop-up tents ⛺💪🏻
