🌳 Horse Chestnut Dismantle – Waltham 🌳

Giving Grimsby Tree,branch, root and garden services a helping hand over the past couple of days, dismantling a large Horse Chestnut tree in Waltham.

Treefellas2015 were also on hand, putting their new 20m spider MEWP to good use! 🌳🪚

🚦 Traffic management had originally been planned for two days, but thanks to a great team effort, we managed to complete the roadside work and get the traffic flowing normally again by 4:30pm on day one.

A big thank you to everyone for their patience, and apologies to anyone who was caught up in the disruption while the works were taking place.

Great teamwork all round and a job safely completed. 👌🌳

Observed on a Beech tree whilst on a job today. This is one of the key features we look for before undertaking tree work. Black staining beneath a cavity can be a strong indicator of bat activity or a bat roost. Because bats are protected by law, trees with suspected roost features are properly assessed before works.

Working alongside Grimsby Tree,branch, root and garden services today, who came to the aid of a homeowner who had fallen victim to a "Have a Go" Tree Surgeons. Despite a fancy flyer through the letterbox, their skills didn`t quite match the sales pitch. After taking a cash deposit, the homeowner came back to a branch that had crashed through the shed roof, and the boys had saddled off and rode into the sunset.

The simple job was quickly finished for the customer today by a professional team.
