A fantastic two days at The NEC, Birmingham, for Highways UK 2026!

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us on Stand C85. It was great to meet so many people, make new connections and discuss how Glendale can support highway infrastructure projects through our specialist services.

From vegetation management and arboriculture to highways maintenance and support services, we enjoyed sharing more about the work we do across the industry.

Glendale is Hiring, Tree Inspector 🌳

Are you an experienced Tree Inspector, arboricultural consultant or skilled practitioner looking to move into consultancy?

Glendale is looking for a Tree Inspector to join its Technical Services team, based in Buckinghamshire with nationwide coverage. You will carry out professional tree inspections, assess tree health and risk, and produce clear, evidence-based reports for a wide range of clients.

The role will cover health and safety tree inspections, risk assessments, decay detection, tree-related subsidence surveys and BS 5837 surveys for planning and development.

Glendale is looking for someone with a strong understanding of tree health, structure and risk management, along with good written and verbal communication skills. A Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture is preferred, with Lantra Professional Tree Inspection or equivalent also desirable. You will also need a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays.

💼 Location: Buckinghamshire, with nationwide coverage
💰 Salary: £32,000 to £40,000, dependent on experience
🌳 Benefits: Performance-related bonuses, company car, generous annual leave, pension scheme, free gym membership, health cash plan, employee discounts, training and career progression
