We met up with our wonderful clients Enzo & Matteo, founders of Oter Sauna, at Saxkjøbing Hotel.

In their little backyard oasis, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a steam session in our Master Sauna with Nguyen Vo from Innerhaven.

It's a special experience that truly left us better than when we came and ready for more inspiring collaboration opportunities.

8 years ago, before we founded Scandinavian Sauna, me and Cecilie Wang were invited to CNN to discuss our Learning Center projects. (link below)

I was terribly nervous months in advance. As often in these situations, now I can't quite remember what the big deal was.

This project was initiated and funded by the 🌸 Sheryl Lynn Foundation - SLF in collaboration with RDI leyte. I'll forever be grateful to everyone involved and the experience resulting from our project involvement.

Another recent project, right on the southern coast of Denmark.

After seeing our sauna, our next-door neighbour Per decided he wanted one of his own.

The trailer has been removed and the sauna placed permanently by the water.

Electric and infrared heating, corner seating and an unobstructed view across the coast.

Per is a keen cyclist, so he can switch the sauna on remotely while riding and step straight into the heat when he gets home.

Permanent when you want it. Mobile when you need it.

Come home to a hot sauna.

Our neighbour Per leads an active life. He cycles regularly and wanted to make heat and recovery an easy part of his routine at home.

He can switch the sauna on remotely before heading home and step straight into the heat when he arrives. He tells us he now uses it more than he ever expected.

A few years ago we built what we believe was the world’s first mobile sauna with both a wood fired oven and integrated infrared heating.

Here is a continuation of that thought, a sauna we made for our neighbour Per.

It combines infrared with an electric sauna stove, with the IR panels built into the backrests and below the benches.

It also featured a massive panorama window towards the water.

We tried to tell our dear neighbour he could just jump the fence and use our sauna, but he wanted his own.

And what a wonderful sauna we managed to create for him, with infrared and electric heating systems and beautiful spotlights from Ifö Electric

Our neighbour is a keen cyclist, so he's able to go for a ride, switch the sauna on from his phone, and step straight into the heat when he gets home.

Sometimes convenience and quality just make it that much easier to stick to a wellness routine.
