Here we have a repair that we did in St. Albert, where a puppy chewed the corner off of a bull nose at the bottom of the stairs, we were able to tie in a piece with leftover carpet! This is why I tell all customers to keep the extras of all flooring as it's the first step of making a repair possible! So if you find yourself in a pickle, or your dog or cat decided to leave their personal touch on your carpet, we may be able to help out!

To finish off the week, we had a urgent call to come and work in rental that had been absolutely destroyed by a tenant and didn't disclose the damage until last minute. So we came out to fix baseboard, walls, paint and redo the master bedroom carpet as it was completely destroyed. Luckily we had just enough time before the new tenant moves in, as well as repairing many other flaws in the berber carpet. We may not always be able to do repairs but if we can, we will!

Another one done for Riize Renovations & Contracting Ltd.! Chris is the man when it comes to refreshing bathrooms(amongst so many other talents he has). He came to us to put our personal touch to these floors with a glue down LVT which is personally one of my favorite colour's I've seen! So happy with how it turned out!

Here's a cork floor we did for clients here in St. Albert, we used subfloor and cork sound dampening underlay to bring the floor up to the height of the tile at the doorway. Giving this room a clean refreshed look from the carpet it used to have! As well as new baseboard to finish the new look!

Here is a carpet job we did last week! What started as what was supposed to be a pad replacement and restretch ended up being a complete carpet replacement and stair upholstery! We also fixed some other odds and ends like fixing the toe kicks, repairing the baseboard and shimming the cabinets to sit more flush to the wall!

**BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!**

We are super thrilled to announce our growth as a company and have added a new division to Braeside Flooring!

As a lot of you know, we offered baseboard and flooring installation, but with the addition of our new partner we are proud to announce that we now offer paint services to our repertoire! As well as we offer smaller drywall repair and mud services. As you can see in the picture, all drywall, paint and carpet were all completed by Braeside!

Here's another one from the floods last month. This one was so bad that the carpet started delaminating pretty badly and seam ripped, but to save the client from having to replace, we were able to fix the seam, and buy this carpet a few more years before it will need a replacement!

With all the water here in Alberta this month, many basements were compromised with water. Leaving our restoration companies and insurance overwhelmed. With wait times that can be painful to wait through.

Thankfully most people took it to themselves to stop the water, remove the wet underlay and air out the carpet. Then we can come in , replace the underlay and, restretch! Voila! Like nothing happened!
