Today is 9-5 Day (9.25) Dolly Parton Style! We’re going to give a few shout outs to some of the local businesses that we think show community spirit & kindness. Everything Dolly was passionate about!

ClearWater CarWash- the commitment they have to this community is outstanding! It’s exceptionally heartwarming to watch the impact they have. The food drives, the sponsorships- they are amazing 🤩

Charmed Floral Design Inc.- Mandi & her team are some of the kindest, most dedicated people to their customers that you’ll ever meet! You can see how genuine they truly are in how much they love to make people happy 🥰

Karen George - People 1st Realty- is such a hoot! Not only is she passionate about helping people sell their home & find their forever/dream homes, she’s got a wicked sense of humor to boot! She shows how much she loves this community, it’s people & it’s businesses every single day 😍

OMG Cupcakes St.Albert- goes out of there way on a weekly basis to make local businesses feel the love. They take suggestions straight from the community on who should be next to receive FREE cupcakes! The community spirit they show is outstanding- & delicious 🤤

St. Albert 50+ Activity & Service Centre- is such a local gem! Not only do they offer a ton of programs that bring the community together- their events are geared for people of all ages in the community! Their cafe is also absolutely incredible- stop by & have some lunch & you’ll be blown away with the quality & the portion sizes 😎

St Albert Food Bank- has been serving the community of St. Albert for decades. Their dedication to helping folks is second to none. From their social workers, to their community kitchen program, to helping people access the resources they need- it’s not just about providing food- it’s about providing a hand up in many different ways ❤️

Keep the kindness going! Comment your favourite business below & why. Write a Google review to a local business to help them become more visible. Leave a recommendation on a local community page. Let’s do Dolly proud today.

We are looking for a local photographer for our Hocus Focus Event, happening October 24th!

What is our Hocus Focus Event? We’d love to tell you!
Our Hocus Focus Event is an annual free, community event that we hold at St. Albert Centre. Families come dressed in their Halloween best, make a donation to the St. Albert Food Bank, enter in a draw & receive a FREE digital photo- capturing the memory!
This is our 5th year holding this event, & it has become a tradition for so many families. To see what they come up with as a family costume, or to even see the kids year to year enjoy this event is incredibly heart warming. We LOVE holding this event! Getting to meet everyone & haunt it up in the mall is such a fa-boo-lous time, we wouldn’t trade it for the world 🎃

We have been incredibly lucky the last few years, to have had some of the most generous photographers in the area help create & make this event so much fun! If you are a local photographer, with a passion for Halloween, supporting community events & the St. Albert Food Bank- as well as receiving a ton of free promotional advertising- we would love to hear from you!

Have a Spooktacular day! 🎃👻
