Just back from SE Asia and still in awe of the whole experience. 🙏

Vietnam holds many peaceful yet exhilarating adventures, Wat Arun, in Thailand is only just over 300, but Chedi Luang is over 600 years old!

Picked up a little Sak Yant tattoo while I was there — a traditional Buddhist symbol called a Unalome. The spiral represents life's early confusion, the zigzag our struggles and lessons, and the straight line our path to peace and enlightenment. A map of a life well-lived.

Feeling grateful, grounded, and back on the tools! If you need an electrician or appliance service tech, I'm taking bookings. ⚡

PSA: Empty your pockets before you do your laundry; a doggy-doo bag could cost you an expensive service call. Ps. If your dryer suddenly won’t run longer than a minute or so, it could just have a broken Run-Winding Throw-Weight Spring.

🎈 Happy Canada Day! 🎈Here are those appliance tips I was suggesting the other day:

1. If your dishwasher detergent dispenser is getting caked or plugged up, you’re probably using too much detergent (especially true with liquid gel type). I recommend Finish brand tablets, not the gel-packs.

2. Check your washer drain filter annually, and if it’s difficult to open or close (expect water to gush out), use the handles of pliers for more leverage. Don’t use the jaws as they can crack or puncture the cover causing leaks.
