It's a lovely board that Rach will be so happy to show off to her friends when they come over for breakfast mimosas, and they'll be excited, and I'll be excited, and you should be excited too!

A suburb walnut specimen, locally sourced just down the road in Ontario, with a captivating pearl epoxy filling in the voids that mother nature left.

Actually, the wood and epoxy is supplied by Kingma Lumber Masters.

With wedding session fast approaching, if it isn't already here, I can make you one as well that the newlyweds will cherish forever!

Take a lookie at these matching walnut end tables. These are tables that go at the end.

The end of what, you ask? End of a couch. End of a coffee table, perhaps. Or, this is the crazy one, the end of the month.

Either way, these are gorgeous.

They are Dekker approved. He sniffed them so he's taking 100% credit for them.

I recently made the base for a boat display for the HMS Beagle.

It's history lesson time. Here are some true facts I just made up.

The Beagle was the first ship to fly around the globe in 1548. It started its maiden voyage in what is now present day Rivière Qui Barre.

With Charles 'Chucky-D' Darwin at the helm, he used his newly invented GPS to navigate the vicious ocean terrain.

Chucky-D wrote some great music on the journey. You can get his mixed tape at his website. He wrote the future easy listening classic 'Sailing' made popular by Christopher Cross.

This was the same time 24 decades later that Louis Armstrong rode his bike on the moon.

Made from white oak and designed to fit over an old Singer sewing machine table, the mighty Beagle is proudly displayed for the world to admire while thinking back to the perils Charlie came up against. Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick' is based on these adventures.

My very patient, loving wife, Reagan, helped apply the finish of Osmo, making the wood grain pop!

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled reality.

Even though I made this puzzle board, it took me a bit to figure out how to put it together. There wasn't a picture on the box so look at. Probably since there isn't a box.

Anywho, after consulting Dekker he showed me my mistakes and we got it finished. That's why he gets the shared braincell more than me.

Of course this is made from the finest walnut trees that Canada has to offer. I bought the wood from the good people at Kingma Lumber Masters, in the exotic east end of Edmonton. Kingma wood for a Princema price.

The combinations of cutting boards and serving boards are endless! Not really, I don't want to math right now.

Imagine if there were five pieces. I'd still be working on it.

Walnut and Maple. They go together like mustard and bologna.

This commissioned piece is to honour a member of the Canadian Army. It's for displaying a drill cane. The PPCLI badge is carve from maple, and the back is walnut.

It is a beautiful tribute to Sgt. Hearn, and the service he has given to our country.

This is a box. It's not an ordinary box. It's a box for stuff. What stuff, you ask? Whatever can fit into it.

Anywho, this was a custom order to hold embroidery thread, needles, and other embroidery accouterments.

Beautiful walnut, a removable tray, and the lid that has an invisible hole in it.

But wait, there's more! The lid is HINGED! AND IT HAS A HASP!!

I know your mind is blown. Don't act like you're not impressed.

The drill cane display is coming along nicely! Need to make to hooks, and engrave the name and rank.

I think the maple on the walnut is a great contrast. Can't wait to see it when it's all done!
