As you can see from the "Before" photos, this cast iron pipe had completely failed under the basement floor of this customer's newly renovated basement. This is exactly why we recommend inspecting older drain lines before a home purchase and not just relying on your home inspection. This issue can lead to serious sewage backups and water damage if not addressed, which unfortunately our customer had to deal with not long after purchasing their home.

Our team got to work and:
✅ Firstly, protected the customer's home and belongings.
✅ Removed the failed drain pipe
✅ Replaced the old line with durable, modern materials
✅ Installed a new backwater valve for future protection

The final result is a clean, protected workspace and a home with a brand-new, functioning main drain.
