ROSEMARY 🌿 - not just for your roasted potatoes (even though that's pretty good too)

Some herbs just find their way into our seasonal traditions. Rosemay definitely stars the show on Thanksgiving and Christmas on roasted oven dishes - from potatoes, to root vegetables and meats. It is fragrant, aids with digestion (perfect for heavy meals) and improves memory. Yes, indeed! Studies have shown that rosemary can help with memory loss and improves concentration. Not to mention its benefits for thinning hair. What an herb!

📌 What to learn more? We have compiled the main medicinal benefits, history and 3 recipes for you to try in our newest blog post. Check it out: link to blog in Bio

If you'd love to explore ROSEMARY and its usage hands-on, join us on OCTOBER 24, 9.30-11.30am for 🔥 Fire C***r at the 🍷
We'll explore the ingredients through taste, learn why we use each of them and we'll even have a special guest coming for more taste testing: 🍎 Ian from .eugenevinegar will present his apple c***r vinegar, which we'll use in the preparation (and he promised to tell us all about the secret behind their awesome product!)

And if course, we'll bring herbal tea and some other goodies ☕️

Get your ticket now, before their sold out. Link to our event list in bio 📌

You've probably enjoyed THYME this past weekend - but this herb is for more than just Thanksgiving 🌿

Thyme is used in stuffing, spices up roasted vegetables and meats as well as hearty soups.
This herb has its place in our traditional holiday dishes but, it's being used in herbalism for a very long time - especially for coughs and respiratory system issues.
And the best part is, thyme grows in our Ontario gardens.

One way to explore Thyme beyond the kitchen is to use it in Fire C***r - a traditional herbal preparation that pairs aromatic herbs, spicy roots & apple c***r vinegar - and is so good to get you through the winter.

You can find more information on thyme on our blog.

And if you'd like to explore and dive deeper into the herbal world, join us on
📌 Saturday, October 24, 9.30am-11.30am at Vankleek Hill Vineyard

Taste the ingredients, learn about theur benefits & create your own fire c***r jar to bring home. We'll also share some recipes on how to use fire c***r in your kitchen! (And more...)

We've been quietly working on something..

🍂 ROOTED - A 7-Day Nordic Nature Reset 🍂

In the Nordic tradition, friluftsliv means open-air living: nature as a daily companion, not a holiday. Scandinavian countries are ranked the happiest in the world for years - and for a reason. Nature, simplicity, the cozy lifestyle of Hygge with deep roots in folk tradition are the core of a Nordic lifestyle. Those folk traditions also gave us guardian trees, herb charms and candles lit against the dark.

This little book borrows from that spirit, with no rules and no perfection required.
