Site Manager / Equipment Operator
Run the site. Operate the equipment. Deliver exceptional customer service.
We're looking for someone who wants more than just another job.
At Cans N Boxes Storage, you'll work directly with the owner to learn every aspect of the business. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our storage facility.
We're not looking for someone to simply complete tasks—we're looking for someone who takes ownership. Someone who treats the facility as if it were their own, notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional operation.
What You'll Do
Every day is different. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day operation of the storage facility
Assisting customers with move-ins, move-outs, rentals and payments
Answering phone calls, emails and customer inquiries
Selling shipping containers through Marketplace, online leads and outbound sales
Delivering containers using a Ram 5500 and 40' flat deck trailer
Operating loaders and skid steers
Loading and unloading shipping containers
Performing site inspections and security checks
Keeping the property clean, organized and professional
Lawn mowing, w**d control and snow removal
Helping us continually improve the facility and grow the business
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Is self-motivated and organized
Enjoys working independently after training
Takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do
Is comfortable using computers and learning new software
Enjoys working with customers
Is comfortable operating equipment and towing trailers
Takes pride in doing quality work
Experience That Is Considered an Asset
Equipment operation
Trailer towing
Sales or customer service
Property maintenance
Skid steer or loader experience
Basic computer skills
Don't have experience in every area? That's okay. We'll train the right person with the right attitude.
