Looking to turn wrenches in a brand new, state-of-the-art shop? Thatchwood Ventures Ltd. is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal or 2nd/3rd Year Apprentice) to join our maintenance team just east of Grande Prairie!

If you know your way around Peterbilts, Kenworths, end dumps, and hydraulic systems, we want to hear from you.

• Supporting operations across AB & BC hauling end dump and tri-quads.

2️⃣ Class 1 Winch Truck / Lowbed Operator
• Oilfield transportation & heavy equipment hauling. (Previous winch truck experience is mandatory).

If you’ve stopped by our front counter recently, you’ve probably been greeted by the newest addition to the Thatchwood crew—our Administrative Coordinator, Angie Holland!

Angie is the friendly face setting the tone the moment you walk through our doors. Behind the scenes, she keeps our day-to-day office logistics running like clockwork so our technicians can stay focused on what they do best: keeping your trucks and equipment running safely on the road.

When she isn't keeping our front office dialed in, Angie is all about the acreage life. You can usually find her taking on home renovations, diving into outdoor projects, or spending her weekends surrounded by her kids, grandkids, and dogs running free on the property.

We’re thrilled to have Angie’s positive energy and organizational skills in our corner. Next time you swing by the shop, be sure to give her a warm welcome!

Every year, Thatchwood Ventures awards four $1,500 scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate dedication to their education and their community.
