🎅 CLR has committed to covering the cost of Christmas lunch, but we want to do MORE!

Our mission is to fill 60 Christmas hampers with everyday essentials, and WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎁

👏 HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO ALL THE BUSINESSES ON CARMEL & LEYLAND STREET TODAY! 👏

A dump truck may have had a slight incident with its load, leaving a tad bit of mess across the streets .

Without hesitation, everyone jumped out, grabbed what they could and got stuck into cleaning it up!

That’s what community spirit is all about businesses looking out for each other and the community taking pride in our area.

Well done to everyone who pitched in absolute legends! ❤️

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CLIENTS

Changes to Card Payment Surcharges – Effective 1 October 2026

From 1 October 2026, changes relating to card payment surcharges will come into effect.

As a small local business, CLR Electrical & Refrigeration incurs surcharges and processing fees each time a customer chooses to pay by credit card. While these fees may appear small on an individual transaction, across the volume of payments we process they represent a significant ongoing cost to our business.

Under the changes taking effect from 1 October, these costs will no longer be passed on to our customers as a separate card surcharge and will instead need to be absorbed by CLR Electrical & Refrigeration.

For this reason, we respectfully encourage our clients, wherever possible, to use bank transfer as their preferred method of payment.

Bank transfer allows us to receive payment without the additional merchant processing costs associated with card transactions and makes a genuine difference to a small business like ours.

Credit card payments will continue to be accepted, and customers will not be charged an additional card payment surcharge.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and support. Choosing to pay via bank transfer wherever possible helps us manage these additional costs while continuing to provide the level of service our customers expect.

Safety switches are designed to protect you, your family and anyone visiting your home from electric shock.

They turn off the power in a fraction of a second if a leakage of current is detected.

This Electrical Safety Fortnight we’re reminding everyone to test their safety switches every three months by pressing the 'Test' or 'T' button. If the switch trips, it's working as intended. Simply reset it afterwards.
