This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected specialist contractor, supporting ongoing maintenance activities across a major processing operation.

This role offers a consistent 8 on / 6 off roster, strong team culture, and the chance to further develop your technical skills within a professional and safety-focused environment.

This is a clean-shaven site, and all applicants must be able to meet site medical and safety requirements.

As a key member of our skilled trades crew, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to our diverse range of clients. Domestic & Commercial Electricians wanting to gain experience within the Mining & Heavy Industries encouraged to apply, relevant training to be supplied.

What you will be doing
• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
• Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and specifications to complete work to the required standards
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and solutions
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
What we are looking for
• Trade-qualified Electrician with a current Electrical License
• Demonstrated experience as an Electrician with strong technical skills in electrical and instrumentation systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality workmanship

Jaysel is an Electrical & Instrumentation Contracting Company servicing various industries throughout QLD including mining, sugar, power generation & aviation to mention a few.

Jaysel currently has a position available for a maintenance Electrician to join our Townsville based crew, this role would predominately be the completion of maintenance tasks with some new installation works. It is a standard 38 hour week & would require assisting with the on call roster

Qualifications The successful candidate would ideally posses one or more of the below qualifications/experience:

QLD Electrical License
Drivers License
Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to pass medical & D&A Testing
Ability to pass Police Check
Role/Responsibilities

Fault finding on a variety of electrical systems
Assisting with on call responsibilities
The successful applicant would need to possess the ability to work autonomously & have excellent customer service skills.
