With inside ready for kitchen, paint, and timber floor sanding, we are nearly at completion on this home, so the outside earth works are well underway. Contouring the land, carefully placing rocks to border the driveway & entrance slabs , setting up for exposed ag footpaths - set off from the house.. Ramps and a bridge at the entrance. We cannot wait to see how the floating house will look once these components are all completed and the finishing touches of gravel & gardens are done. We have no doubt this home will fit right into and complement its already beautiful surroundings!

Our builder brain Jesse just loves getting his mind around how to execute the "outside of the box" ideas our clients and architects have. Here we are setting up a suspended slab on ground.... When completed, this house is set to have the illusion of floating off the ground somewhat.. with suspended overhanging slab most of the way around the building - excluding entrances. This giant slab took 120 cube of concrete!!, plus a lot of extra working out and setting up, so we can't wait to see the end product on this beautiful custom build designed by Urban Abode Building Design.

Mareeba truck school comes highly recommended after helping 3 x Howe Building staff gain their HR license’s last month 🤩 Locky the owner made us all feel confident on the road, calm and ready going into our tests - couldn’t ask for a better instructor!!! 😉

All smiles on an early Tuesday morning was Tya (the boss) of Howe Building who absolutely nailed her HR today with a clean run! Great drive and now you are one up on the boys! Thanks for your support! Cheers Locky

This Burnished Concrete Floor is coming up nicely, I love the reflection of sky in it here! Like a tile underfoot, but with no grout or gaps…. It has a lovely marbled effect throughout, making it a great flooring choice for this modern custom home
