Restoration Technician
Location: Earlville, Cairns QLD
Job Type: Casual, with the potential for full-time employment
Ozone Services Australia Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated restoration company proudly servicing North Queensland. We specialise in water damage restoration, mould remediation, and associated restoration services, delivering professional, high-quality outcomes with integrity and care.
Due to continued growth and increasing workload, we are seeking motivated and reliable Restoration Technicians to join our expanding team.
This is a hands-on role where you will receive training in specialised restoration services, including:
Flood damage response
Mould remediation
Structural drying
Cleaning and decontamination services
You will work across residential, commercial, and government properties, often in time-sensitive or challenging environments. No two days are the same.
Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to water, mould, and fire damage events
Operate specialised drying equipment, including air scrubbers, air movers, and dehumidifiers
Perform cleaning, decontamination, and restoration works
Record moisture readings, capture photos, and complete job documentation
Work independently and collaboratively within a team
Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders
Travel to remote and regional job sites when required
What We Are Looking For
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends when required
Current driver’s licence (essential)
Construction White Card (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children Blue Card (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration industries is desirable but not essential
Ability to pass a police check
Full training will be provided, including opportunities for IICRC certification for the right candidate.
