Benefits of dosing manganese (Mn) in a marine aquarium.

Essential micronutrient for photosynthesis - Manganese (Mn) is a cofactor in photosystem II and other enzymes in algae and symbiotic zooxanthellae; adequate Mn supports healthy photosynthetic activity in macroalgae, phytoplankton, and coral symbionts.

Supports enzymatic and metabolic processes - Mn is required for enzymes involved in antioxidant defenses (e.g., Mn-dependent superoxide dismutase), amino acid metabolism, and other cellular functions in invertebrates and fish.

Aids macroalgae and refugium productivity - In refugia or algae scrubbers where macroalgae growth is desired, trace Mn can relieve a limiting micronutrient and improve growth and nutrient export capacity.

Our Coral Essentials, Coral Power Gro and Gro Ready are both a blend of vitamin complexes and includes the amino acid L-Lysine. Gro Ready is a formula ready for dosing straight from the bottle that doesn't require refrigeration. Suitable for use on all dosing machines or to direct dose manually. Power Gro is a concentrated blend of the same vitamins to be dosed manually via drops. They both provide a vital source of food for coral and enhances growth and colouration. It is essential for increased vitality, coral metabolism and overall food source for most marine aquarium inhabitants. Polyp extension is increased after dosing Coral Power Gro, indicating healthy, feeding coral.

To ensure enhancement of the colour and growth of SPS and LPS corals, maintain a regular dosing plan. Variances above and below the recommended dosing can be made depending on your own tank conditions and density of coral present.
