🌿 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | SKYBURY COFFEE & ROASTERY

Not every lift installation is as simple as bringing a lift to site and putting it in place… and this one definitely had a few extra steps! 🚧

We recently completed the installation of a commercial Orion lift at Skybury Coffee & Roastery in Mareeba, helping provide easy access between levels at this beautiful Atherton Tablelands destination.

And getting the lift into position was quite the operation! With the location and existing buildings to work around, the lift was craned into place before our team could get to work on the installation.

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing a project go from a lift arriving on the back of a truck, to watching it being carefully lifted into position, and finally seeing the finished result come together.

The completed Orion sits neatly alongside the existing building and timber deck, providing a practical access solution while fitting beautifully into its surroundings. 🌿

Projects like this are a great reminder that no two lift installations are the same. Every site brings its own challenges, and that's where experience, planning and the right equipment really matter.

A big thank you to the team at Skybury Coffee & Roastery for trusting Access Home Lifts with the project. ❤️

SATURDAY REALITY CHECK 😂

Running a family business sounds very glamorous until you realise one of you spends the week crawling around lifts and the other spends it chasing quotes, emails, suppliers and paperwork!

We're definitely not always organised, and we're certainly not always glamorous... but we absolutely love what we do.

We're incredibly lucky to have built a business that lets us work together, meet so many wonderful Queensland families and, most importantly, help people stay in the homes they love. ❤️

So while everyone else is enjoying their Saturday, there’s a good chance we are both still working! 😂

Thanks for supporting our little family business. ❤️

Happy Saturday from Liz & Marc

We have just finished installing a lift for some very special clients ❤️

Over the last year, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of working alongside these special clients while they carefully considered the big decision of purchasing and installing a lift in their home to help prepare for their retirement years.

Throughout the installation, the clients worked alongside Marc and Jesse every step of the way — and even cooked dinner for the boys on multiple nights! 🍽️

This is truly what makes this job worthwhile. It’s not just about installing lifts — it’s about helping people through an important stage of life, supporting them through a big decision, and building genuine friendships along the way.

Thank you Bob and Jo for trusting us with your home and for being such incredible clients. We are so grateful to have met you both ❤️

🏠 MYTH: Home lifts look clunky and out of place.

Not the Elegance Plus! And honestly? It makes the space look MORE beautiful, not less. + Adds value to your home instantly!

We hear this concern a lot — people assume a home lift means sacrificing style. The truth is the opposite.

Modern home lifts are designed to complement your home, not compete with it:

✅ Slim glass shafts that open up a space visually
✅ Aluminium finishes to match your interior
✅ Compact footprints that work in Queenslanders, new builds, and renovations
✅ Options starting from $38,000 — more accessible than most people think

Whether you're planning ahead or need a solution now, the right lift can genuinely add value — financially AND in quality of life.

Not sure what would suit your home? Marc offers free site assessments right here in North Queensland. No pressure, just honest advice from someone who actually knows lifts.

😊 THIS is what staying home looks like.

We hear it so much! When our client's tell us the stairs are starting to win. They are not ready to leave the home they'd built their life in. They just needed a little help.

We come out to your home for a proper chat, (and sometimes a cuppa) and look at the space. We aren't limited to just one brand of lift. We can find the solution from multiple suppliers and find the right fit for you and your home. No pressure. No confusing jargon. Just honest advice from someone who genuinely cares.

Today? we have many clients happily gliding between floors with ease. Their home is still their home. And their smiles say everything.

✨ If you or someone you love is finding the stairs a little harder these days, it might be time for a conversation.

We offer free site assessments right across North Queensland. Marc will come to you, listen to what you need, and walk you through your options — at your pace.
