Proposal: The Intratrek Academy for Renewable Energy, Technology & Innovation
(A Flagship Project Supporting His Excellency Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on his Vision 2030)
Executive Summary
The Intratrek Academy is envisioned as a state-of-the-art, three-storey technical and innovation school dedicated to building Zimbabwe’s next generation of skilled technicians, engineers, and entrepreneurs in renewable energy, ICT, and construction technologies.
It will serve as a national skills hub directly aligned with His Excellency President E.D. Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 — transforming Zimbabwe into an upper-middle-income economy through industrialization, modernization, and human capital development.
Concept Overview
The Academy will provide hands-on, competency-based training under the motto:
“Powering the Future through Skills, Innovation & Integrity.”
Core Focus Areas
1. Renewable Energy Systems – Solar PV, hybrid grids, storage systems.
2. Electrical & Power Engineering – Design, installation, maintenance.
3. ICT & Smart Technologies – Networking, coding, digital literacy, IoT.
4. Construction & Green Building Technologies – Sustainable site skills.
5. Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation – Empowering students to start energy and tech ventures.
